Hi, I'm
Gemma Barnes
REGISTERED NUTRITIONAL THERAPIST & HEALTH COACH
I help people over 40 get their energy and mood back on track, sleep better, and clear the brain fog — so they can feel calmer, happier, and more in control again, without having to give up all of their favourite foods.
My mission
when working with clients
My mission is to guide and support as many people as possible who are struggling with their mood and loss of wellbeing — helping them to understand their bodies and giving them the tools to feel amazing, whatever their age.

HOW I CAME TO STUDY NUTRITION
My husband was diagnosed with cancer at 31 and, despite the initial shock, my instinct was to support him as best I possibly could. Naturally, I wanted to understand how to nourish him at home, but when I asked the oncologist, it quickly became clear there was a big — and very confusing — gap between mainstream medical care and nutritional advice.
I went on a mission and discovered a whole world of nutrition and lifestyle medicine that had never even crossed my mind before. It was incredibly empowering to realise that better health, more energy, and greater confidence were not only possible, but within our control. No one needs to settle for simply existing.
That discovery sparked a real passion in me. I retrained and am now a Registered Nutritional Therapist, supporting others on their own journeys to feel calmer, happier, and healthier — with that added extra glow.
My approach
I’m a non-judgemental, empathetic practitioner who understands what real life actually looks like. I’ll help you cut through the confusion and show you a way of eating and looking after your body that works for YOU.
Eating well doesn’t have to be expensive, overwhelming, or time-consuming — I’m completely realistic in my approach and will help you find simple, practical ways to make changes fit into your everyday life, whatever your situation.
